I had written my manifesto, but done little to think about possible layouts and design. I spent a while losing myself in 'New Perspectives In Typography', which despite appearing to be a fairly dry book, was beginning to interest me far more.
I wanted to delve back into Adobe Illustrator for the work, as I wanted the manifesto I had written: 'Happy Accident Manifesto', to appeal to a large audience, so the simpler I could create the design the better.
The design wasn't the challenge after all, it was the getting the text to flow, while doing its job.
Once I had decided on a leaflet over an advert, I started looking at how it could be laid out and constructed. One of my fellow cohort mentioned taking the journey of opening the leaflet, so I was quite interested in how I could exploit that feeling and experience.
