I'm slowly building on my arsenal of tools needed to tackle acrylic painting. I'm slowly improving my palette skills, and the cheap and cheerful stay-wet palette has helped me enormously with that, and saved me money and time. The biggest bonus has to be that my paints are always ready to go - no setup time, no remixing colours, which means I can paint on a whim ( and I only ever use whim friendly paints).
I'm also finding the heavy structure gel is changing my game, enabling me to work faster and improved the layering when used as a glaze. More than though - it feels so good to use, making a rather sloppy feeling paints into thick, oil-like texture.
