HaMWORK

The design-work for this project did seem to fall into place quite quickly. I had already decided on what type of fonts I wanted to use, and a rough design idea featuring ham and eggs, err...obviously.


I chose DM Sans for the body text as I like the simple san-serif look, and its flexibility, being a variable font with plenty of versions. For the heading I wanted something safe and soft, and to be honest, a little like ham, so I chose Fredoka One from Google fonts.


The bright colours were also an important aspect for me, to get across the fun element of the design, but also to contrast with the very cool looking black. This colour change, with the colours in the middle of the design, along with the Bob Ross quote which cuts across the opening of the leaflet take the design a step forward each time on the journey of entering the leaflet which I was keen to explore.
